Ann Dellar was born in Manchester in 1933 and grew up in Gee Cross. Marrying Owen in 1955, the couple subsequently had two sons. The family lived briefly in Ann's native Lancashire but finally settled in Cornwall. Friends will remember Ann as many things: an inquisitive person with a real need to know, someone with naively impish humour and a creative and generous friend. In 1963, she found faith in Christ which she shared with her family. In 2004, Ann's health began to deteriorate, ultimately needing permanent nursing care. Following a long battle with a rare neurological disorder, she passed away quietly on 2nd May 2010 aged 77.
